Guided by a palette of soft blues and natural tones, the design evokes the relaxed spirit of South Florida’s waterfront while maintaining a fresh, contemporary edge.
In the family room, textured blue-and-white wallpaper and arched windows create a tranquil backdrop, with sunlight streaming in to highlight a reimagined fireplace adorned with intricate millwork and playful tiles. A navy performance suede sofa, paired with crisp white chairs and a steel-textured chandelier, invites gatherings, while rattan lamps and a basketweave mirror add coastal charm. The dining room, painted in a soft hue, features whimsical sconces, a custom chalet rug, and pecky cypress ceilings that evoke a ship’s weathered deck. The stairway, anchored by a navy table and brass fixtures, ties the home together with a custom runner in ocean blues.
The heart of the home (a combined family room and banquette space) fosters connection with a ship’s wheel-inspired chandelier, deep-toned millwork, and brass-detailed cabinetry. A custom captain’s table in the banquette, surrounded by natural fiber chairs, invites lingering conversations, while unique tile and a nautical clock in the kitchen nod to the family’s oceanfront lifestyle.
